Our products in the Power Steel family contain 18/12 Carbon Nickel and 2 Molybdenum.
316 stainless steels become more resistant to heat with Mo addition. It provides maximum durability compared to 304 quality.
The expression 18 refers to the chromium rate in stainless materials (example: 18% chromium). The second ratio, 12, refers to the nickel ratio found (Example: 12% nickel). As the ratio values increase, higher corrosion resistance occurs.
