Our products in the Power Steel family contain 18/12 Carbon Nickel and 2 Molybdenum.
316+ stainless steels become more resistant to heat with Mo addition. It provides maximum durability compared to 304 quality.
The expression 18 refers to the chromium rate in stainless materials (example: 18% chromium). The second ratio, 12, refers to the nickel ratio found (Example: 12% nickel). As the ratio values increase, higher corrosion resistance occurs.
